These free, browser-based tools let you:
- Search publicly shared Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms
- Find files like PDFs, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and more across the web
- Filter by date, domain (e.g., .edu, .gov, .org), and keyword
- Open results in tabs or save for later
- Work directly in your browser
Open the file
This will display a HTML file
Ensure you have your bookmarks toolbar showing. Double click on the HTML file that you downloaded and the screen will populate with the install instructions that you see shown here. Simply click on each Search Tool and drag it to your bookmark bar. You will be invited to save each bookmark.
POST INSTALL
Once installed you will have two bookmarks. On activation they will present the boxes shown below. Simply complete with the data being researched. Note: you can use search operators within the keyword searches presented to better refine your results.
